Practice Recount T4W3

On Tuesday 27th of October 2015 me and my class went down to the hall for kiwi can. I went down in the elevator with my friend kauri. The elevator was as white as a snow you can see a nice view it's like you're in a sky tower. When I Pushed the number 0 it went down like a slow turtle but a little faster turtle. When we got out of the elevator it was so cold it was like i was in antartica me and my friend Kauri and Tevita walked all the way to the hall and saw room 8 there they were playing the game bang because they had time after their kiwi can session.Me and my friend Kauri and Tevita waited there for a short time it was our class turn for kiwi can. My class went in and we were playing cool games. After that we finished and played bang.We were all in then some of us got out and then it was me and my opponent alethia and destiny. I almost got out but it was a draw then ngatokorua called alethia name then alethia jumped down and then I shot destiny then she was out and then me and alethia were the last standing just like wrestling. Me and alethia had to go back to back the magic word was chicken then we quickly had to walk to the wall and listen for the magic word called chicken. Then we had to turn around and shoot each other and see who was the fastest. I won and everybody was cheering for me and I was impressed with myself. Then I went back in the elevator with my friend and it was slow as a snail going up. But we made it to class and carried on with our work...

NRL experience kick of T3W2

It’s only mid-night but the freezing air beats you down. Your team mates on the sideline are in a warm spot in their jackets but it feels like there are polar bears trying to stop you from getting to the try line. I get 4 points from scoring. Now I go to take the kick but my legs are freezing. To me it feels like I'm in Antarctica, but I will be brave and go for the kick. When I step back and look at the ball and then the goalpost, in my brain I’m saying to myself “I will get this kick over.” My heart is beating a million beats per hour. My fans are screaming at me and they are saying, “Get it over! Get it over!” I look at the ball, then I look at the goalpost. I look at the ball, then I look at the goalpost. I look at the ball, then I look at the goalpost. My fans are shouting at me like a monkey in a zoo. I get annoyed. Then I look at the ball then I look at the goal post one last time. I try going with what my heart said and it said I will get it over. Then I step back and then I take a little jog, then…

How mount wellington hill exzist

Long long ago in 1915, there were six ANZAC soldiers called Tolly, Pompom, Coco, Tangaroa, Kauri and Gaza. They were looking for some German enemies and some pig to eat. Then they found some German soldiers hiding between the dark trees. One of the German soldiers aimed a gun to the youngest ANZAC person - his name was Tolly. He said, “Don't shoot me!” Then another German man came and said, “Here are some gold gems. Do not drop them, or else.” Tolly - the youngest one - grabbed the gems then as they were running the oldest German soldier was shooting the ANZAC soldier, Coco. Coco saw a plan in his mind and said, “Run there!” They were running to kill Tolly, because he stole the gems from the German man. Then the german man said, “Go! Go! Go!” They ran as fast as they could Totally didn’t know that he was dropping the gems as he was running. The oldest brother said, “Where are the gems?” Then the youngest brother said, “I panicked so much that I dropped them when we were running away from the German enemies.” Suddenly, it was raining and the ground was shaking underneath them. It was the gold gems! They were really magical gems! Then the brothers thought that they can call it the six ANZAC brothers of Maungarei mountain.

My description craft

WALT write a description about our Malama Honua experience using our five senses.

I could hear The long low hum of the conch shell and
The mighty sound of the children performing the haka,
Malama honua crew singing a traditional hawaiian  song in tune together
the blades of the helicopter sounding like war and I could hear
the water coming towards us the wind blowing the trees side to side.
A man saying a speech in different language and
school kids singing maori songs.

I could smell The salty sea water and
green grass. The petrol of the bout.
the smell of the beautiful kids next to me
children sitting in the sun getting burnt and
the muffler of the bus.

I could taste The sea salty water and the wind going in my mouth
The green grass flavored like green vegetable
The salty sweat coming down my forehead.

I could see A rainbow of colors from the manaiakalani school kids
and nice colored waka’s with the bright shiny sparkly beach and
2000 people hi fiving the people that came on the waka and
nice looking schools.

I felt the breeze from the strong cold wind and then when the bright hot sun came out I felt like a sizzling boiling burnt sausage then when we stood up and did the haka I felt so very
tired when the haka ended i felt so very
proud of our schools for performing a haka then I felt

exhausted when we stand up.
