World record broken

Today I read an amazing article about people Floating in water. Those people that were floating on the water actually broke the world record in Argentina.  by almost

2,000 people in Argentina participated

and did it most of them were Helped by

the salty waters of Lake Epecuen. people

joined  hands and floated to set a new

Guinness world record They floated

together for about 30 seconds and

finished. The Guinness Book of Records

certified that the stunt easily qualified for

new world record.The  previously world

record was set in Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan,

in 2014.

Wellington giraffe dies after operation

Today I read a sad article it's about a Wellington giraffe that died after an operation. As soon as I saw this I was sad because that giraffe must of had lots of
family Wellington Zoo is mourning after the death

of their elderly giraffe, Tisa.

The article says that Tisa the female giraffe died on

wednesday morning  following hoof surgery last

week.Tisa the female giraffe came to Wellington Zoo in

1991 from Melbourne as part of a breeding

programme. Tisa had a family with five children with her

partner Ricky, one of which, Zahara, still lives at the

zoo. The zoo says that not long ago they

lost a nine-year-old chimpanzee

Beni after it suffered a cut to its leg and also failed

to recover from anaesthetic.

Woman keeps cookie for 85 years

Today I read and weird  article about a Woman who kept a cookie for 85 years. As soon as I saw this I was shocked because no one has ever done this. The article says that An

Arizona woman has kept a cookie for 85 years
after receiving it for Valentine’s Day in the

1930s.Penny Rickhoff has kept the

heart shaped cookie in a jewelry

box ever since it was passed down by her

mother who saved it as a moment of her

first love. My thoughts about this is that it's

alright because it's from her mother's first

love.

Kiwisports reflection

Today for kiwi sports we did badminton. It was fun because we got to play stuck in the mud but different why was it different? because instead of running straight you will have to run sideways. The challenging thing about that was when we had to run sideways my friend gary was a tagger he chased me sideways and likely before he touched me it was over. Another fun thing was when we had to challenge each other with our forehand and
backhand skills. A cool thing about kiwisport today was when we got to go outside and verse each other. A challenging thing about kiwisport today was when we had to get into buddies it was difficult because when I tried to look for a buddy they were taken likely my friend Tevita was not taken. My buddy Tevita made me laugh so much I couldn’t stop. What we learned was forehand and backhand. Another thing that I or my class learned today was movement this was pretty difficult because I couldn’t do it properly, there is some other stuff we learned but I forgot sorry about that but anyways Ben our instructer said to challenge each other and try make them move.I felt like I wasn't even going to move but turned out I moved.I felt safe because I knew that the people around me were making sure that we were alright.Another reason why I felt safe was because I was surrounded by some student leaders or student councils. My thoughts about kiwi sports Today is that it was fun, exciting and challenging. Hopefully me and my class gets to do it again.

Here are some photos of kiwisport:

Thank you guys for reading this kiwisport reflection. Please leave a comment to make sure that I did this right if I didn't than you can still comment and tell me what I can do next time to make it better.

Reflection:Technology

Hi guys today I am going to be telling you guys what we did for technology. Today was an other amazing day the part that I liked about tech today was when we got to eat our Potato salad and chicken kabab it was challenging because it was me and my buddy first time cooking kabab and making potato salad another challenging thing about today was when we had to take out the kabab out of the oven the oven was hot that's why it was challenging my last challenging thing about today was when we had to keep on checking on the potato why did we have to keep on checking on the potato?  cause we were worried that it might get over cooked. After all of that I forgot to check on the potato likely my buddy was there to tell me to check on the potato if my buddy wasn't there then I could of made our potato salad over cooked. The part that I didn't like about today was when we had to clean up mostly everything in the kitchen.

Hopefully you guys enjoyed my blog today about technology. Please leave a comment to help me out with what I did wrong. Thank you for reading my blogpost catch you up next time. :)

Here is the recipe for the Potato salad and chicken kabab.

Te reo maths

WALT: value of numbers using the Maori counting system.

On Thursday the 16th of February 2017 our class was learning numbers in Te reo this was very challenging for me cause I did not know that many Maori numbers I only knew it up to 20 or 10. When I went on the number generater I got the number 4525 and that was so hard I couldn't even get the first number which was 4 thousand I couldn't figure it out so I tried looking for a someone who was Maori turned out there was no one that was Maori. I tried to figure out what it was in Maori so it took so long I gave up and went on google translater and got it so yeah thats how I got the last one.

I tried my best to get the number 4525 but I couldn't  Hopefully I next time I get a number like get a number like this I will not give up and I will try my best to get the number.

Hopefully you guys enjoyed reading my Te reo maths I tried to get the number 4525 but it was challenging. Please leave a comment so you can tell me what to do next time.

Today for Technology we made cynamon and jam muffins. Today was my second time going to Tamaki college and exploring food tech with Mrs Tuipulotu. Today I felt confused because There was lots of measuring and mixing and cleaning.  .The part that I liked about food tech today was when we had to mix most of the ingredients together and  when we had to add the topping on the muffin. The part I didn't like about food tech today was when we got the equipment out of the cupboard and the equipment was dirty and when we had to clean up our table and sink. Music: Digital for 2017

Today was our first time going to music for 2017.For music me and my group was called digital 2. What we signed up for was Digital music if you don't know what digital means it is like recording, remixes and other stuff which I forgot about. Our music teacher was caleb, he was telling us about how music is recorded and how music goes around the world, he said "that in the 1700's people will write a song and give it to people to play" I think that's what he said but anyways, caleb was saying that "A man called Thomas edison invented a kind of cd that is called a record cd" I think thats whats its called but he said. But did you know that in those cd's there are little bumps for the record player to play and there are 8 songs in those record cds. After all of that caleb said to go on a website that is called sound trap and we did it when we were on sound trap caleb already did his beats and sounds it sounded so awesome. When our group got a hang of it we started playing instruments like drums piano and other stuff.

And that is all we did for music today Thank you for reading and please leave a comment : )
