Hello guys I am going to be telling you guys what I did for maths this week.I completed 4 of the questions but today I am only gonna be telling you guys one.

Here they are:

WAL: How to reverse multiplication and division problems to make them easier.

1. It cost of 327.55 for Tom's ski team to take part in a competition to find how much it costs for each of the four members to compete Tom writes 4 x 81.8875=327.55. How could Tom write this as a division problem? Tom uses his calculator and gets the answer 81.8875.

Toma - Justin Bieber cancels world tour

I am learning to tell you guys about Justin Bieber canceling

his 14 concerts.

Justin Bieber has cancelled the 14 concerts that he was due

to perform in Asia and North America. 

Justin Bieber hasn’t given a reason for his decision. 

Justin Bieber has already performed in more than 150 shows

since starting his tour in March 2016, with an average of 

40,000 tickets sold for each date.

A statement on his website said: “Justin loves his fans and 

hates to disappoint them.

Toma - kiwican Reflection

I am learning to tell my audience on what room 9 did at kiwi can.

Kiwi can

Today for kiwi can we learnt about resilience.To me resilience means to not give up.We also did a game when you will have to get into 4 groups.Then your teacher or kiwi can leaders will give you an emotion.After they give you a emotion they will play a song and you will have to act like your playing a instrument.You have to make sure that you don't make a sound.While you are doing that emotion the other teams will have to guess what emotion you are acting out.

After we played that game we did another game called statue. For that game you will have to make a group of 5.After you do that then you will have to get to creators from each group.After that you will have to go up onto the stage and the 2 creators will get a emotion from your teacher/kiwi can leaders.After that the creators will have to make make you into that emotion.For example you get the emotion sad then when that is done you will have to make the other people in your group look sad and they will have to stay like a statue and the audience will have to guess what emotion they are doing.

What I found challenging was doing the first game.Why? because me and my teammates were to shy to act out the emotions.What I didn't find challenging was the statue game.Why? because all we had to do was just stay still and be a statue.

Activity 1:  Go to the Tourism New Zealand website and click on the ‘Facts - New Zealand People’ tab. Read about the people of New Zealand and then choose three interesting facts to post on your blog. The facts must be written in your own words. 1.Mateship on the sporting field

Rugby Union is the most popular viewing sport in New Zealand, with the legendary Team All Blacks.All Blacks is a famous rugby team in new zealand, They recently tied the lions series with the lions team.They both won the lions series.Score 15-15.In New Zealand, rugby is definitely the grass-roots sport of the average bloke.

2.Kiwis love the great outdoors

Hiking, camping, fishing, bush and beach walks are other popular outdoor things that kiwis like to do. In 1953 the most adventurous Kiwi, Sir Edmund Hillary, climbed Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain.Sadly Sir Edmund Hillary died at 9am on Friday 11 January  2008 after a heart attack in Auckland City Hospital, aged 88.

3.Backyard Genius

Kiwis have been discovering and inventing things. Many of these inventions have literally been created in a backyard.Kiwis have created something called bungy jumping.The bungy jump is probably our most famous Kiwi inventions, there are many others.

Activity 2: Your tour of New Zealand is going to start right here in Auckland. Watch the Tourist video for Auckland to learn about the awesome things that you can see and do in the city. Once you’ve finished, choose your favourite five activities from the video and list them on your blog.

Toma - volcano erupts in mexico

On July the 6 a volcano erupted in mexico.

The Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico has erupted, throwing ash, water vapour and gas into the air.

The eruption has made an ash cloud that reaches 2,000 metres above the volcano’s crater.

What is a crater? A crater is the hole that is in the middle of the volcano.Its where the lava and other things come out of.

How is it created? A crater is created on top of the volcano after the first eruption blow the top of it off.

People that live nearby volcanos have been given advice about how to protect themselves from the ash.

There are more than 3,000 volcanoes in Mexico, but only 14 are considered to be active.

Toma - New Zealand wins Auld mug

I am learning to tell my audience about the New zealanders

 winning the Auld mug.


Loads of people have celebrated the New Zealand winning 

the America’s cup in the rain.

Team NZ was honoured as people lined Auckland’s 

central city streets to cheer on Team NZ and see the Auld 

Mug.Peter Burling the Captain and the CEO Grant Dalton 

showed off the trophy to the people that lined up at the 

streets.Team New Zealand brought the Auld Mug home

after 14 years away.The Cup will travel to Wellington on 

Tuesday. Christchurch is in planning for Wednesday and 

Dunedin on Thursday of next week.

Toma - Spiritual

I am learning to Create a Poster for the event that is coming up on Wednesday evening.

Today we did a google drawing for the event that is coming up tomorrow.This event is for our inquiry I think.We had 4 groups Honey,Sugar,Fitness, Te whare tapa wha the group that i am in.First we planned what we will be putting onto our displays.Then we printed our google drawings.After that we painted our display.We made our display look like a brick house.What I found challenging today was painting the display because it was so hard trying to get the color of a brick.What I didn't find challenging was making the google drawing because we got help from the teachers.I feel that tomorrow will be an awesome day for my group.I thought that my group worked hard on our display board.

Toma - What am I grateful for

What am I grateful for

I am learning to tell you guys what I am grateful for which is Family,House, and food.

In this piece of writing I will be talking about what I am grateful for.There is a lot of things that I am grateful for.there is one thing that is really grateful for me which is church.

CHoice #1

Having a family is one of the best things I have ever had in my life.The people in my family that I am grateful for is every single one of them.Why? Because they are the ones who payed for my school uniform,my netbook and other things.If I didn’t have a family I would be lonely.I would have no house no school uniform no netbooks.For example I have no family then I have no money to pay for my school stuff, Then I can’t learn new things.

Choice #2

The second thing that I am grateful for is a house.I am so grateful for a house.Why? Because if I didn’t have a house then I will be living on the streets.I would have no shelter, no space for me to put my stuff and if it rains then I could get soaked.If I did have a house I would be able to put my stuff in places,I wouldn’t get wet.

Choice #3

The last thing that I am grateful for is Food.I am so grateful for food.Why? Because food is part of my life cause if we don’t have food we will starve.I think that we need to stop wasting food because lots of people in other countries are starving.That’s why.If you waste food you could just waste the money that someone has spended for you.

Toma - Tuakana Teina Day Work

I am learning to Tell my audience what I worked on with my buddy Jeremy.

On Friday we had Tuakana Teina day.For Tuakana Teina day we did this work with our buddy about Milk and Fruits.This is the Work that I did with my Buddy Jeremy.We also got some help from my friend Vuni.

This is the work that me and my buddy Jeremy did also we got help from my friend Vuni.What I found challenging was writing down information because my buddy didn't have any information on his paper.What I didn't find challenging was getting the images because all we had to do was take screenshots of the images that our buddy used.I feel like I have learnt a lot from this day because I didn't know what most of the fruits had in it.I thought that I learnt more about fruits and what kind of vitamins are inside it.
