My first blog reflection for term 2 2018

I am learning to reflect about what I did in the holidays.

In the holidays I watched a movie called Avengers: infinity war. The movie was about a bad guy named Thanos who was looking for 6 stones to make him powerful. He was the hardest enemy the avengers have ever fought. At the end of the movie when most of the avengers were down Thor stabbed Thanos with a axe and then Thanos said to him "You should of aimed for the head" then after that Thanos got the last stone which was in Visions head and  some of the avengers disappeared in ashes. The thing that I liked about the movie was that most of the scenes were about fighting.

Another thing that I did in the holidays was play on the PlayStation 4. The game I was playing was Fortnite. What I was trying to do on Fortnite was trying to come first in solos but it was really challenging. It was really challenging because most of the people I was versing was people that were actually skilled players and I was also all  by my self.

Ako evening preparation

I am learning to tell my audience about our Ako evening preparation.

Yesterday we had an Ako evening. For our preparation my group did a timeline about ourselves.
This is what I did.

First I did where I was born which was at Auckland hospital, I did my house, my church, Auckland hospital again because my little brother was born, then I went to school in 2010, after that in 2014 I went to tonga and then came back to New Zealand in January 2015, went to the hospice because my aunty was sick there, after that in 2018 I became a student leader, then Tamaki primary had there first ever volleyball tournament in 2018, After that in 2018 my family moved into a new house.

We had to make a cardboard stand about our timeline. My group drawed a photo of a olden day telephone.

Ms Komor my teacher told me to make a document of my talent show reflection and share it to her so she can print it out. What I enjoyed was making my timeline about me because I wanted the people in my class to know more about what I have done in the past. What I found challenging was creating the timeline because I had to think about some of the things that I did in the past.

Talent show

I am learning to reflect about my experience at the Talent Show Last night.Image result for talent show

On Thursday the 5th of April at 6:00PM there was a Kia Manawanui Talent show in the TPS hall. We did this because we wanted to fundraise for our TPS camp this year. There was lots of people in the crowd waiting to watch our performance.

BEFORE all of that we had lots of practices. Well we were doing our practices I was feeling energized but when it came to the Talent show I felt like I had butterflies in my stomach. Also when when we heard that one of our mates wasn't coming we had to add someone else into our group and it was very difficult. Once we found someone we had to come up with moves to make our dance. The song we danced to was The Joewana Remix . Me and my group mates wanted our dance moves to be entertaining. While we were practicing we had some arguments about what dance moves we wanted but then we all sorted it out by going with the majority of the group.

Before the talent show started we heard that our new member of the group wasn't coming so there was only 4 of us performing. During the talent show my singing group went up and we sang I KNOW THE LORD. We had a Junior student from room 1 that sang with us. After that we had to go to the music room where the Kia manawanui students are at. After that people kept on going and performing until a Special guest named General fiyah came and sang for our talent show. He sang 2 songs the first one was HERE TO STAY and after the permances he sang . The whole kia manawanui went and sat in front of all the audience and watched him sing. After his performance there was group who danced to azonto.

Then we had a brake after the TPS band performed and we had a food sale going on. After the brake it was my group, the costumes me and my group were wearing was a Tupenu, a white shirt, and a Ta'ovala and as soon as I went up I looked at the crowd and it looked like I was at a soccer game. I felt like I had lots of butterflies in my stomach and I was so nervous because I was thinking about what I might do wrong and it might feel embarrassing. But when the Music started that's when all the butterflies went away and I felt happy and energized again.

When all the performances were finished the Kia manawanui syndicate went up and did the performance they did to open the Talent show. When were were singing and doing the actions I accidently did the wrong moves for the song and I was kind of embarrassed but I kept on going.
