Tai Chi and Kung Fu

I am learning to reflect on what I did at Tai Chi.

Today was our last day for Tai Chi. The 3 things I learnt during Tai Chi this term is the stances the breathing stuff and also the games that we did. The stances that I mostly enjoyed learning was the tiger stances because you had to be able to do it fast. The breathing stances we did that I enjoyed was the monkey washes face, open channels, and around the world. I liked though's breathing stances because I was so relaxed when I was doing it.

After we did that we got into a half circle and instead of talking about our positive comments and stuff we did our stances one by one. I felt nervous because I felt like I was going to fail it but when I did it I did start good but when it went to the end I kind of failed it.

The two stories that Mr Gordon told us that made me think about life was when he told us about a man named Tue or Tua. That story made me think about changing my attitude because when he started work he had a great attitude and he kept on getting pay rises and he also said that Tue or Tua was the first on at work and one of the last people to leave. Mr Gordon said that there was a time when they were going up a muddy hill their truck was very dirty and when they got back Tua showed integrity and cleaned up the truck and when Mr Gordon left the work Tue or Tua ended up becoming the boss of the landscape crew.

The second story that made me think about life was the story about his aunty. Mr Gordon said that his cousin had a mum which is Mr Gordon's aunty that was very sick and she only had 3 months to live. So the cousin and his family moved in with the mum and looked after her until she passes away. Mr Gordon said that his cousin bath's her, cleans her, and do lots of helpful things to help her. Mr Gordon said that whenever he takes his cousin out hes always sad and struggling with what hes doing.

The nicest thing I've done for someone was giving a homeless man $5. I decided to do that because I thought that he had nothing to eat for the whole day.

Hopefully you guys enjoyed reading my blogpost today. Feel free to leave a comment down below on what I need to work on next time or on what you liked about my blogpost today. Bye ;)
